NMITE, New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering

NMITE, New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering, is the engineering higher education institute of the future in Hereford backed by the UK Government, engineering businesses, professional engineering bodies, Herefordshire Council and the Herefordshire community. NMITE, which is committed to a 50/50 gender split and delivery of the world’s most distinctive and innovative engineering curriculum, welcomed its first cohort of undergraduates in September 2021 and its second in January 2022.

James Newby, Chief Operating Officer has this to say about our relationship: “NMITE is a new organisation which challenges existing approaches to Higher Education and the training of engineers in the UK. So our partnership with Rochester is very important to us. We are a small organisation and need a PR and Comms partner who understands us – really understands us. Rochester have helped us find a confident and positive voice when speaking to the outside world, helping us plan and deliver major projects such as our organisational launch but also supporting us as we sharpen our messaging in response to day to day issues. They are also an incredibly friendly bunch – we feel like they are part of our team.”
