During Jo’s career as a PR consultant she has worked on business to business, consumer and corporate campaigns for clients from a range of sectors including food and drink, retail, restaurants, not for profit, education, charity, tech and government.
Jo worked with Joanna for two years before they moved with some clients to start Rochester PR Group in 2011. Since then, she has continued to develop her experience working with international brands from territories including Africa, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and the United States.
She is the main contact point for clients and is responsible for ensuring that communications campaigns progress to schedule and that deliverables and results are being reached. For Jo, a career in PR is the perfect mix of commerce and creativity. She particularly enjoys helping well established brands gain a foothold in the UK and supporting start-ups whether that be through messaging and social media strategy development or copywriting for client’s websites, designing brochures or advising on in-store branding and layout.
Born and brought up on a sheep and hop farm in Kent (where she recently got married) before studying History at the University of Bristol, she remains a keen foodie and early adopter of new food products and restaurants. She is a regular to Maltby Street Market close to her flat in Bermondsey (she regularly runs home from the office) and is a big fan of interior design blogs.
