The summer season; internships, weddings and the odd sunny day

Summer in London is always an interesting time.. The sun shines for 30 seconds and the parks are instantly full with people determined not to eat ‘al desko’ that day; there is the well reported mass exodus when getting a seat on the tube is no longer a luxury; as term finishes graduates become eager for work experience; and there are always a bevy of outdoor events to look forward to, especially so-called ‘wedding season’.

For us this year was no exception with two interns throughout July (one from New York and the other the son of a client) who we kept busy working on ‘Christmas in July’ client activities among other things. Our summer events highlights were the Sirius Programme graduation party at Lancaster House, a company strategy day in Rochester, a sunny August wedding and preparing for a big early September food and drink festival in Spitalfields. More on that next month…
